Fundraising and Volunteering Coordinator
Our mission at YUSU is simple - we provide representation, opportunities and run services for all 18,000 York students. YUSU is looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to support the delivery of our student volunteering and fundraising. Working closely with our 21 student-led volunteer projects you will support projects to function effectively, providing administrative support and operational advice and guidance. You will build relationships with key stakeholders, coordinate regular communication with members and partners, project manage events and work programmes and support the long term planning of volunteering and fundraising, including the development of new opportunities.
Our community team exists to enhance students' experience of University life and contribute to civic life on campus, in the city and further afield. Applicants should be passionate about student life and support our core values - to be for, with and by students. You will liaise between the University and teams across the Student’s Union, working closely with student leaders and student volunteers. You will be a good communicator, digitally literate and have experience of working with volunteers, coordinating projects and using data and evidence to produce reports.
