Job Title: Student Union Helpdesk Assistant (Student only Role)

Location: York University Student Union Helpdesk

Reporting to: Helpdesk Coordinator 

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Working pattern: 6 hours per week minimum (average of 8 hours expected during core weeks) term time only, zero hours during vacation weeks. Fixed term until June 2025. 

Closing date: Monday 13th May 2024 at 11:59pm. 

Interview dates: Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd May 2024.

Expected start date: 9th September 2024

The University of York Students' Union (YUSU) seeks a passionate Helpdesk Assistant to join our friendly team. You'll be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service across all channels. Promote YUSU services and events, answer enquiries, and connect students with the right resources. Be a superstar in ensuring smooth operations by handling administrative tasks and maintaining a welcoming Helpdesk space.
