Job Title: Student Activities Assistant (Student only role)

Reporting to: Activities Development Coordinator 

Place of Work: York University Student Union (YUSU)

Hours of Work: Minimum contracted hours of 4 / maximum 12 hours per week during semester time, 0 hours during the holidays.

Salary: £10.90 per hour

Contract: Fixed term until June 2024 with an opportunity to extend into the 24/25 academic year.

Closing date: Sunday 18th February 2024 at 5pm

Here at YUSU (York University Students Union) we have an exciting job opportunity for someone to join our Activities team as the Student Activities Assistant. 

About the Role:

The Student Activities Assistant will assist the Activities Development Coordinator and Activities Officer with the delivery of the 2024-2025 Ratification period and YUSU’s Awards Season.

The role will include, but is not limited to: 

  • Assisting with project development and processing documentation.
  • Liaising with student groups, members of staff, and external organisations to ensure the delivery of YUSU projects and operations.
