Are you looking for flexible work, based around your studies? YUSU is looking for a capable and ambitious finance enthusiast with a keen interest in the Student Union and an interest in a role within administration and finance to help improve student experience. The right applicant will be in post from 12th April until 2nd July 2021. THIS IS A STUDENT ONLY ROLE
You will have great organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience of working in a team and supporting others. You should also be confident at using G Suite and Microsoft Office packages, including using formulae and other excel functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Finance Student Group Administration, coordinating with the Finance Assistant responsible for Student Groups, as well as supporting the YUSU Finance team, YUSU as a whole and the student community.

Here at YUSU we are able to offer flexible working arrangements with a real work / life balance. This role will be an average of 8-10 hours a week with higher working hours demand during term time and less demand out of term time. You will be able to balance work and earning with your study and your education. There may be more hours available depending on demand.
Your working week will be based around 8-10 hours per week, and you will have the responsibility to manage your hours in line with the business needs and your learning timetable, coordinating these with the Student Finance Supervisor. While the pandemic continues, this role will initially be home based until we can work in the office again. A degree of flexibility will remain to suit your own and business needs when we can use the office.
